About Me
Hi, I’m Andrea.
I’m a firm believer that effective instructional design improves lives and connects people. Over the course of seven years, the world was my testing ground as an instructor. I traversed the Alaskan Tundra, urban Cameroon, and the wilds of the US suburbs. I had to learn my unique audience in each position and craft instruction to meet their needs.
I have served over 500 learners, generated more than 80 learning units yearly, overcome language and cultural barriers, and hold instructor certificates in Advanced Placement and IB (International Baccalaureate Programme). I am currently working toward a certificate in online learning and instructional design.
When I moved to the corporate world I saw firsthand the harm of ineffective instructional design. Well-designed learning is important for all levels of an organization, and I love that my work can help learners achieve personal and professional goals.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me walking the green spaces in my city or rocking out to Lord of the Rings soundtracks.
